Meet Our Team

Golf Fore Africa is dedicated to remaining a highly efficient organization with minimum operating expenses and is currently staffed by a management team of three volunteer officers with extensive business and non-profit experience. Each officer provides management and oversight of the organization, as well as, providing funding to offset the administrative expenses of the operating budget.

Betsy King - CEO/President

Betsy King spent 28 years playing on the LPGA tour. She won 34 tournaments including 6 major championships. Elected to the LPGA and World Golf Hall of Fames in 1995, Betsy played on 5 U.S. Soheim Cup teams and was the victorious captain of the 2007 U.S. team. She retired from the LPGA tour in August of 2005 and began Golf Fore Africa following a trip to Africa with World Vision in October of 2006. Betsy has been involved with a number of charities, including the Fellowship Of Christian Athletes, Habitat For Humanity, and World Vision.

Debbie Quesada - Vice President

Debbie Quesada spent most of her career at Danbar Sales Company, a wholesaler of Electronic Test Equipment in various management positions. She is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Los Angeles. She has been involved in missions work for the last 10 years at the church level and has traveled to numerous countries. In 2006 she was a part of the Vision Trip to Africa with World Vision and has worked with Betsy to start Golf Fore Africa since the inception.

Katherine Hull - Board of Directors
Katherine Hull joined the LPGA tour in 2004. In 2008 Katherine had her best year on the LPGA tour winning her first LPGA tournament at the CN Canadian Women's Open and having 9 top ten finishes. In 2009 she started off the year winning the Australian Ladies Masters. She is a graduate of Pepperdine University and had very successful collegiate career winning 8 collegiate titles. She traveled to Africa in October of 2007 with Betsy King, World Vision and other LPGA players. She became a member of the Golf Fore Africa Board of Directors in 2009.
Wendy Posillico - Board of Directors
Wendy Posillico has spent most of her career committed to teaching. Wendy, a LPGA Teaching Professional, has played on the Futures Tour, Canadian Tour, as well as the Cactus Tour.  Prior to committing to professional golf, Wendy earned a BS in Education from the University of Vermont and further pursued her passion for teaching by earning a Masters Degree in Special Education from New York University in 1996. In October of 2007 she traveled to Africa with Betsy King, World Vision, and other LPGA players. She became a member of the Golf Fore Africa Board of Directors in 2009.
