On February 21st and 22nd 2010, Golf Fore Africa hosted the first “Visions of Hope” gala dinner and mini pro-am golf tournament. The event was a tremendous success raising close to $100,000 for the Lesotho Housing Project.

150 people attended the fabulous gala dinner, which took place at the Cochise/Geronimo Clubhouse at Desert Mountain Golf Club and featured Kay Cockerill from The Golf Channel as Master of Ceremonies. Author and aids activist, Princess Kasune Zulu of Zambia moved the audience with her powerful words as the evening’s special guest speaker.

The following day the mini-pro am took place at the Golf Club Scottsdale. This very special event was limited to only six foursomes, each playing with PGA and LPGA pros including Bubba Watson, Paul Goydos, Aaron Baddeley, Meg Mellon, Beth Daniel and of course Betsy King. This exclusive event also included a private lunch after golf with the players.
